My first handmade willow basket 🥴 Very elementary and ill-constructed but it does the job of a small gathering vessel. Perhaps it will be useful for when salmonberries or blackberries start to ripen? Or even for collecting mushrooms?? It was fun to make and I've collected a good size bundle that's currently drying for a second, hopefully better attempt 😏
Round two proved to be very fruitful 😁
A teaser clip for my latest YouTube video in the works. It's an update to my original winter foraging video. I'm getting down to last portion of editing and so far looks like the video will be over 20min long making it my longest one yet 🥴
Wild hearty winter soup challenge in the works for a youtube video... except the quail eggs, not technically wild.
Foraged some amazing looking winter roots today. These wild carrots are huge by wild standards! Some almost a foot long. Also collected some more field mustard and a nice size dock root. I'll be using these to put together a hearty winter soup. More than a day in the making because I'm putting together a youtube video. But when it's all done it should be fairly filling. 😋
Round two! 😋🍄
